Buyer checklist: used fridge
- Measure width, height and depth, and leave 5–10cm at the back and sides for airflow.
- Measure your door frames and lift — side-by-side fridges are often over 90cm wide.
- Check door gaskets close tightly all round.
- Ask whether the fridge has a water dispenser and if it needs a water line.
- After delivery, let the fridge stand upright for a few hours before switching on.

Used fridge FAQs
How long should I wait before switching on a delivered fridge?
If it travelled upright, a short wait is enough. If it was tilted, wait at least four hours so the oil settles in the compressor.
Do used fridges use a lot of electricity?
Newer inverter fridges are efficient even when second-hand. We can point out inverter models when you enquire.
Can you deliver to a high floor?
Yes. Tell us the floor and lift size so we bring the right team and check the fridge fits.
Do you have fridges with ice makers?
Sometimes. Ask on WhatsApp for current stock with ice and water dispensers.
